Q: What ages are these flashcards for?
A: Our “First Words” flashcards are designed with toddlers and preschoolers in mind, but learners of any age can enjoy them as they build vocabulary and connection to the language.

Q: What’s the difference between the Afghanistan and Iran editions?
A: Both editions include English–Farsi words and phonetic pronunciation.
The Afghanistan edition uses the Kabuli dialect.
The Iran edition uses the Tehrani dialect.
Similar to American vs. British English, the languages share a foundation but differ in some vocabulary and pronunciation.

Q: Will you be adding additional editions or sets? 
A: zabanak is growing, and we're always dreaming up new sets, themes, and editions. If there's something you'd like to see, feel free to share it with us. We always love hearing from our community. 

Safety & Materials

Q: Are your flashcards safety tested?
A: Yes. Our cards are designed to meet U.S. CPSC toy safety standards and are independently lab-tested.

Q: What are the cards made of?
A: The cards are printed on durable card stock with rounded corners and eco-friendly soy-based inks.

Orders & Returns

Q: Do you accept returns or exchanges?
A: At this time, we do not accept returns or exchanges.

Q: What if my order arrives damaged or misprinted?
A: We’ve got you. If anything arrives damaged or defective, email us within 7 days at zabanak.kids@gmail.com with your order number and a photo of the issue. We’ll help with a replacement.

Shipping

Q: Where do you ship?
A: We currently ship within the United States, as well as internationally to Australia, Canada, Denmark, Finland, Germany, Netherlands, Norway, Sweden, and the United Kingdom.

If you don’t see your country listed, feel free to reach out. 

Q: How long will my order take to ship?
A: Orders typically ship within 2–4 business days.

• U.S. orders: Free shipping, with most orders arriving within 3–7 business days after shipping.
• International orders: Delivery times vary by destination and may take 1–4 weeks.

International Orders & Taxes

Q: Will I need to pay VAT or customs fees?
A: International orders may be subject to VAT, GST, customs duties, or handling fees required by your country. These fees are set by local authorities, are not included in our shipping prices, and are the responsibility of the recipient. They’re typically collected by the local postal service before delivery.

Gifting

Q: Do you offer gift cards?
A: Yes! Our digital gift cards make wonderful gifts. You’ll receive a code by email that can be shared with the recipient.

Q: Can I send an order as a gift?
A: Absolutely. You can enter a different shipping address at checkout. We don’t include pricing in the package.
